YumYum Dishes Are Joining in my "12 Days of Christmas Giveaways 2012" event!

I am someone who has always yo-yo'd up and down when it comes to my weight. The last year I've lost over 118Lbs, and have been able to keep it off. I had weight loss surgery early March, and one of the main things when it comes to food is portion control. YumYum Dishes were created to help in the department of food portion control, as they are sized to the proper portion of what we should be eating. In the past I reviewed their Set of 4 YumYum Bowls (click here to read my old review), and I loved them. Since then they've updated their Set of 4 YumYum Bowls to include plastic lids, and have also introduced a new product called Set of 9" Plates.

The set of 9" plates come in a package of four: colors red, yellow, green and blue. Each plate has the same saying like the bowls "Yum Yum time is... Over". Each plate has lines on them that divide the plate into food portions "Veggies", "Protein", and "Carbs". The fact that it breaks the food groups down for you, is a nice reminder of the actual amount of each food you should have. A lot of people, LOVE carbs, and sometimes fill up on that. I LOVE carbs, but I know I have to stay away from them and only have what is needed.

I have been using my bowls daily since my surgery. It's perfect for meals, to help control how much you eat at a time, as I know I can have one bowl for a meal. Since I'm seven months post op, I can eat a little more then before. The bowls are perfect for snacks, to help control the portion. If I have a snack, I don't want to eat it from the original packaging... doing that can cause over eating. If I do have a low fat snack, I know that in my bowl it's only 4oz's!

The new products are available to order now, but shipping will start in the middle of December... perfect to get your order in just in time for the holidays! Wanna order yours today? Click here to grab your YumYum Dishes today!

Here's a video with Lisa who talks about a lot of today's every day products, and what's hiding inside them!

  1. It is not a good idea to skip meals. Skipping meals will only cause your body to crave more, which can put you in a position to eat too much food. Even if you are not really feeling hungry, eat something little and healthy at least three 3 times a day.
