How the Food You Eat Affects Your Va-JJ
Healthy vaginas naturally have an acidic pH, as well as host healthy bacteria to ward off infections. The foods that you eat can influence that pH, changing the way your downstairs smells (and even tastes). For example, spices, garlic, onions, dairy, red meat, broccoli, asparagus, and alcohol can affect the natural balance, whereas fruits and fruit juices may turn things sweet. Whatever the effect, it would only last for a few days at a time.
When it comes to eating for two (you and your va-JJ, that is), filling up on fresh fruits, some mild veggies, whole grains and of course water is best. If you enjoy Greek yogurt, all the better. Yogurt with live active cultures are probiotics, and may help the vagina maintain a healthy acidic pH balance.
You may also want to cut back on sugar for your vagina's sake, as women with uncontrolled high blood sugar due to diabetes, may be at an increased risk for yeast infections.
