I'm someone who loves my smartphone, and you can usually find me on it quite frequently. I use it for keeping in touch with family and friends, as well as having fun via social media. Many people use their phones now in order to tell time... well not everyone is able to keep their phone on them in certain situations. At my previous job I wasn't allowed to have a cellphone out in the open, as we were dealing with clients confidential documents. How was I able to keep track of the time? Ah... an old fashioned clock... wearing a watch! To me it's not always about just telling time, a watch is a piece of jewelry, it's something trendy, and you can have one to match different outfits.
JORD, and I was fortunate to get the chance of testing out one of their products. They are a company that specialize in wood watches, which are truly gorgeous and would be perfect to add to anyone's collection... these watches are a timepiece that would never go out of style.
The wood that they use for the watches are aged and sourced from around the world. They are aged in the open air with natural oil extracts, to create a gorgeous finish. The company uses a combination of precision CNC machinery, laser engraving, and hand finishing. They offer a wide selection of automatic, mechanical, tourbillon, and quartz movements. Each watch is shock resistant, uses sapphire crystal glass, and built for durability... pure luxury.
"The value of a watch is not in being able to tell how much time has passed, but in being aware of the need to make that time count. Moments are bigger than minutes and your watch should tell more than time."
The watch came packaged in a solid wooden box, that slides open to reveal the item. This is truly more gorgeous than any photo can capture, and would make for the perfect gift this holiday season. Before even opening the box, I could tell that this was going to be a high quality piece. This is going to be a Christmas gift for my partner, and I wish that I had selected one for myself instead!
I would have loved to of taken a picture of him wearing it, but that wouldn't be able to happen until Christmas day. Instead, I took a picture of myself wearing it... it's big on me, so it would be a perfect fit for him. I purposely measured his arm so that it would be the proper fit.
